9058 Bruce M. Green was called
to the Ontario Bar in 1981 and the British Columbia Bar in 1984.
He is a past recipient of the Performing Rights Organization
of Canada Copyright Award for the best learned paper on the
law of copyright. He was also co-recipient of the J. Edward
Maybee prize for highest results on the patent agents' examinations.
Mr. Green has been an adjunct professor of the Law Faculty of
the University of British Columbia since 1986, lecturing on
the subject of copyright. He has published numerous papers on
intellectual property law and litigation. He is a former Chairman
of the Computer Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association
(B.C. Branch) and a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute
of Canada. Mr. Green practises in all areas of intellectual
property law and litigation and appears regularly in the Federal
Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of British
Columbia and the B.C. Court of Appeal in intellectual property
causes. His patent practice is primarily in the software, computer,
electrical, business methods and mechanical areas. |
