Vancouver Career College has applied for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada a decision of the British Columbia Court of Appeal on a case of passing off brought by Vancouver Community College. The case involved Vancouver Career College’s use of the domain name “VCCollege.ca” and Google advertising keywords “VCC” and “Vancouver Community College”.
